US President Donald Trump on Friday declared his full support for “super intelligence” (SI), his preferred term for artificial intelligence (AI), urging states to embrace the technology and capitalise on its potential economic benefits.
“I am 100% in favour of Super Intelligence (SI), and will work with the many States in the US that want to become RICH by having them,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
“They are GOLD, and only foolish leadership will say ‘NO’ to the riches they bring!” he added.

The remarks underscore Trump’s continued push to promote the term “super intelligence” in place of the widely used “artificial intelligence” (AI), as his administration seeks to reshape the language surrounding the technology.

Trump has signed an executive order directing federal departments and agencies to use “Super Intelligence” and “SI” instead of “Artificial Intelligence” and “AI” in official correspondence, public communications, websites, reports and policy documents, to the extent permitted by law.
He had previously signalled his administration’s hardline stance on the terminology, saying the White House considers those who continue using the term “artificial intelligence” rather than “super intelligence” an “enemy”.
The administration has also established a Super Intelligence Force to coordinate the federal government’s approach to the technology.
