Haier Launches Triple Drum Washing Machine in South Africa

Haier showcased its MultiWash washing machine at its new product launch in South Africa on 29 October 2026, introducing a multi-drum design that explores more flexible ways to sort and care for laundry at home.

Different household members have different needs when it comes to fabric types, colours and garment care. Finding more efficient ways to manage everyday laundry has therefore become an important direction for washing machine innovation.

The MultiWash washing machine features three drums that can operate simultaneously or independently, offering households more flexibility in managing different laundry loads. The design is intended to help make home laundry more efficient and give families more time to spend together. All three drums are equipped with Haier direct-drive motors, designed to support efficient, stable and quiet operation.

Designed for Everyday Care, Backed by Local Warranty Support

As washing machines are used frequently in the home, consumers consider not only product functions but also the reliability of key components, such as the motor, and the support available after purchase.

Under Haier South Africa’s official warranty policy, specified front-load and top-load washing machines equipped with a direct-drive (DD) motor carry a five-year overall product warranty. The DD motor is covered by a lifetime parts-only warranty. Labour charges apply to lifetime parts-only warranty claims, and coverage is subject to the models and conditions set out in the official warranty terms.

This warranty offering reflects Haier’s confidence in its product quality and gives consumers clearer information about the support available during product ownership.

Since entering South Africa in February 2026, Haier continues to develop products for local needs.

Connecting Everyday Living with Global Brand Experiences

Haier officially entered South Africa’s home appliance market in February 2026 and continues to develop its product offering around the needs of local consumers and their households.

In global brand communications, Haier draws on football partnerships associated with Liverpool FC (LFC) and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to connect sport and brand experiences. In September 2026, Haier announced that it would become a Global Partner of the UEFA Champions League, further expanding opportunities to engage with consumers around the world.

By connecting everyday laundry needs with international football culture and consumer engagement, Haier continues to develop its presence in South Africa, using product innovation and a range of brand experiences to help local consumers become more familiar with the brand and build long-term trust.
