The 2026 TrueLife Experience has challenged Ghanaians to overcome fear, self-doubt, and other personal limitations and take deliberate steps towards achieving their ambitions.

Held under the theme “The Audacity to Dare”, the two-day event is taking place at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra on November 5 and 6.

The gathering brings together business executives, entrepreneurs, policymakers, professionals and emerging leaders to discuss how courage, personal development and purposeful action can help individuals translate their potential into tangible results.

Convener of the initiative, Dedo Kofi, said the programme uses real-life experiences to inspire participants and provide practical lessons they can apply in their personal and professional lives.

‘The Audacity to Dare’: TrueLife Experience challenges Ghanaians to pursue their ambitions

“I wanted a conference that is very relatable to people. And I believe that stories are one of the ways people can easily relate,” she said.

She explained that the experiences of people who had confronted challenges and pursued their ambitions could help others navigate similar situations.

According to her, having a dream does not automatically lead to success, as individuals must be prepared to work towards achieving their aspirations.

“Dreams don’t happen automatically. Dreams have to be worked on. That’s why we’re talking about the audacity to dare. If people are doing that, that’s what will develop our communities and nation,” she said.

She added that the willingness to pursue one’s ambitions should not be limited by age or circumstances.

Keynote speaker Dzigbordi Kwaku-Dosoo urged participants to move beyond drawing inspiration from other people’s achievements and become individuals whose lives and work inspire others.

Drawing on her personal journey, she highlighted the importance of developing human competence, particularly critical thinking, communication, public speaking and relationship-building skills.

“You have to build the competence before you transform,” she said.

Ms Kwaku-Dosoo said personal and professional growth required patience and consistent investment in self-development.

She also encouraged participants to combine prayer with deliberate action, noting that progress required more than waiting for opportunities.

She urged individuals to remain committed to their goals even when results were not immediate.

The 2026 TrueLife Experience programme includes keynote addresses, candid conversations, practical breakout sessions known as Dare Labs and networking opportunities.

The sessions are intended to provide participants with practical learning experiences, encourage collaboration and help them translate ideas into actionable plans.

Other personalities associated with the gathering include business leader and African economic sovereignty advocate Sir Sam Jonah, mindset mentor Nekeya Parks and Edward Effah, founder of Fidelity Group.

The event will also feature a Legacy and Honours Night to recognise individuals and organisations for their contributions to society.

TrueLife Experience is a personal-development initiative that uses storytelling, conversations and shared experiences to inspire and empower individuals.

The organisers say the 2026 edition seeks to move beyond motivation by providing opportunities for participants to examine challenges affecting their personal and professional growth and identify practical ways to address them.
