The Israeli army demolished five Palestinian homes in the town of Biddu, northwest of Jerusalem, leaving more than 20 Palestinians homeless, Anadolu reports.

The demolitions were carried out without prior notice on the grounds that the homes lacked building permits.

The Israeli army also reportedly damaged trees and agricultural land near a military checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Beit Iksa.
