EFF member killed outside voting station

An Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) member has been fatally stabbed outside a voting station in Polokwane on Thursday morning.

EFF’s provincial chairperson, Lawrence Mapoulo, says the deceased was involved in a conflict with another person outside the Flora Park Comprehensive School, where vote counting is taking place.

The deceased was a party Treasurer at the Flora Park branch.

Mapoulo says the member was stabbed and succumbed to injuries at the scene.
